The Idea

Random events create one-time visits. Recurring series create habits.

The strategy is to build recognizable programming properties that people learn, remember and plan around, so Boring Bodega becomes a place with a rhythm instead of a place with an occasional event.

Neighborhood Social is the partner developing and curating that ecosystem: concept, vendor and partner recruitment, programming design, promotion, event-day operations and breakdown.

01

01 · Awareness

People learn the property by name and by rhythm.

02

02 · Repeat visitation

A reason to return every week, not every quarter.

03

03 · Food + beverage

Programming keeps people on property longer.

BORING BODEGA
AFTER DARK

A rotating series of evening experiences designed to give the surrounding community something to do, somewhere to go and a reason to keep coming back.

From dance lessons and cooking classes to date nights and ticketed experiences, After Dark turns the Bodega into an evolving social destination.

Carve with your neighbors.

Hundreds of pumpkins on long communal tables under string lights

Guests bring their own pumpkin or reserve one in advance through the event.

Alternate name: THE GREAT BODEGA PUMPKIN CARVE. Built to become an annual signature October experience if the first year performs.
